Faith communities and others, will be participating in the Annual Province / Canada wide peaceful prayer vigil known as LIFE CHAIN on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2 - 3 p.m. Participants gather in quite prayer in opposition to abortion, emphasizing the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. The locations are:

St Michael the Archangel has begun formation classes for any adults interested in knowing more about the Catholic faith. Classes run from the end of September right through until Easter on a weekly basis. If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or wanting to know more about the Catholic faith in order to make an informed decision, please contact Fr. Join us as we begin this Fall with the first in the series
“Journey with the Father”
What does it mean to walk with God? To come to know Him? To come to live for Him?
In this study, we explore our relationship with God the Father
as we look to the Bible to answer the age old questions –
Who is God? And what does He want from me?
God has revealed Himself and who He wants us to become,
through His words and His actions, with those whom He has called into relationship with Him.
Join us as we work through the Bible to understand God the Father,
what He offers us, and what He asks of those He has called to walk with Him.
This is the journey of a soul to God.
Beginning in Genesis, we will move through the Bible and come to understand
the nature of our relationship with God the Father.
In our weakness He strengthens us. In our struggles He teaches us.
Bring your Bible, a cup of coffee/tea, and join us Saturday mornings for Catholic fellowship
and the joy that comes from reading and sharing the Bible together.

Gleaners’ Foodbank Monthly Food Collection
On the third weekend of every month our parish will promote a food drive to provide for the ongoing daily demands of the Food bank. The blue bins which you see in the tower entrance and by the Welcome Desk are for that purpose. Dry goods and canned goods are requested. If you want a more extensive list of their needs please pick up the food list by the foldout at the entrance of the Church.

Whatsoever you do to the least of the brothers and sisters of Jesus, you do to Him.
One of the most important works of God that we do all of the time is supporting the sick and suffering with our prayers. All studies show that people who pray and receive prayer from others and are supported by the Sacraments, bear their sufferings better, recover more quickly and are open to God’s healing grace.
Will you be like the friends of the paralyzed man in the Gospel who lowered their friend through the roof right in front of Jesus, insisting that he be healed? They were so determined that their friend would encounter Jesus and experience his healing grace that they were ready to go to extreme measures on his behalf. Let’s be equally insistent and supportive.
