Good news! Our new sound system will be installed at operative by the end of the month. With better sound equipment, there will be a need to have an in-service for all readers, but also, we require many new readers to be trained. If you are 13-years or older, you are invited to consider undertaking this important role of proclaiming the Word of God during our liturgies. Gleaners’ Foodbank Monthly Food Collection
On the third weekend of every month our parish will promote a food drive to provide for the ongoing daily demands of the Food bank. The blue bins which you see in the tower entrance and by the Welcome Desk are for that purpose. Dry goods and canned goods are requested. If you want a more extensive list of their needs please pick up the food list by the foldout at the entrance of the Church.

One of the most important works of God that we do all of the time is supporting the sick and suffering with our prayers. All studies show that people who pray and receive prayer from others and are supported by the Sacraments, bear their sufferings better, recover more quickly and are open to God’s healing grace.
Will you be like the friends of the paralyzed man in the Gospel who lowered their friend through the roof right in front of Jesus, insisting that he be healed? They were so determined that their friend would encounter Jesus and experience his healing grace that they were ready to go to extreme measures on his behalf. Let’s be equally insistent and supportive.

2025 TAX RECEIPTS
To issue a tax receipt for the year 2025, the money must be deposited into the parish bank account in the 2025 calendar year. The last deposit for 2025 will be on Monday, December 29th. Please ensure that all donations are received on or before this date, otherwise, the monies will show on your 2026 Tax Receipt. Again, thank you so much for your faithful and generous donations throughout 2025.
To simplify Online Giving through Interac E-Transfer, auto deposit has been set up for your convenience. To take advantage of this simpler way of donating to St. Michael the Archangel, you are required to use the following E-mail address: StMichael@archkingston.ca.
