We are grateful to welcome Father Raymond DeSouza for our parish mission this year. Please mark your calendars as we explore the depth of our Catholic faith as a parish family.
ROSARY PRAYER GROUP
Prayer group for family members who have fallen away from the Church. On Sundays from 1pm to 2pm, this prayer group will pray the Rosary for those who wish to pray for children, grandchildren or the members of their family who have left the faith. After the Rosary there will be time for particular intentions and spontaneous prayers to ask Our Lady to intercede for their return to the Catholic faith. To be held on the 2nd floor of the parish centre.

The religious goods glass counter placed at the back of the church offers a few Catholic books and items for sale to all parishioners. ~ MEALS ON WHEELS ~ Volunteers are urgently needed to deliver meals to shut-ins on Thursdays for the month of August. It requires approximately one hour each Thursday. For more information please contact Marilyn Trudeau at 613-922-5141.

Gleaners’ Foodbank Monthly Food Collection
On the third weekend of every month our parish will promote a food drive to provide for the ongoing daily demands of the Food bank. The blue bins which you see in the tower entrance and by the Welcome Desk are for that purpose. Dry goods and canned goods are requested. If you want a more extensive list of their needs please pick up the food list by the foldout at the entrance of the Church.

One of the most important works of God that we do all of the time is supporting the sick and suffering with our prayers. All studies show that people who pray and receive prayer from others and are supported by the Sacraments, bear their sufferings better, recover more quickly and are open to God’s healing grace.
Will you be like the friends of the paralyzed man in the Gospel who lowered their friend through the roof right in front of Jesus, insisting that he be healed? They were so determined that their friend would encounter Jesus and experience his healing grace that they were ready to go to extreme measures on his behalf. Let’s be equally insistent and supportive.

Scholars, students, clergy and the public who are interested in the renewal of economic thought are invited to the 1st International Conference on Douglas Social Credit and Catholic Social Teaching, hosted by the Pilgrims of St. Michael in Rougemont, Quebec, Canada on May 21st and 22nd, 2026.
The conference will examine the economic ideas of C.H. Douglas, the founder of the Social Credit movement and their relationship with Catholic social teaching, particularly the principles of the dignity of the human person, the common good, subsidiarity and solidarity.
We welcome proposals for presentation at the 2 day conference until March 31. Two days studying the principles of Douglas Social Credit will precede the conference.
